Lake County Board Commissioner Diane Hewitt (District 2) is having a Garage Sale fundraiser for her campaign. After a contested Democratic Primary, the Republican Party appointed an extremely right-wing candidate to run against Diane in the General Election. Retaining this seat is critical for the Democrats to remain in the majority on the Lake County Board. Diane will be receiving items from friends, family and anyone else who is willing to donate. All profit from the Garage Sale will go to Diane’s campaign fund. The sale will be held on August 21,22 & 23 Friday, Saturday & Sunday from 8am to 4pm. Diane can take your items immediately and will take merchandise up to a few days before the sale. However, the sooner the better so she can advertise special items.
